unfotunately it was a few too many feet away as this is what she did, harmless you say...well if it had only ended up on this one paper.
This is what the foot looks like after a long scrub and soak in the bath, so you can imagine what the new hardwood floors look like! Any ideas? It is good that PURPLE happens to be one of her favorite colors. So my note to self is, never, ever leave children with pens, markers, stamp pads, etc. that are not washable, ironic thing is that I was in the garage putting nonwashable markers in a sack to give to one of my high school teacher friends as I didn't want my kids to use them!
Another note to self, don't leave two year olds who are wearing underware near a pile of books while you are blogging!
Does it get any better this?

Wow Marissa! Were you able to get the ink out of your floors??
Thank goodness we were! Justin went to Home Depot and bought several different cleaners and then we had the girls stamp their fingers with the same ink on a piece of scrap wood from when the floors were put in to find out which one worked the best and didn't take off the finish as well!
oh my gosh marisa! my thought as i was reading this was the line from annie where miss hannigan says..."kill, Kill, KILL!!!" so glad it came out!
YOU HAVE TO LOVE KIDS!!! a few days ago we found Nicholle drinking water from the toilet with her te cup...and she was alone only for a few minutes!!!
I am a firm believer in the "sweet innocent face" really being a front for "Master of Destruction". It's really their cover for making sure they make it to their 18th birthday.
I'm usually very excited to hear when my first fivers apply what they do at school in the home, sorry.
Dearest Marisa and Justin,
We had crayons and ink decorate the walls in our new Payson home by one or more of the Brown "crew." Strange that I can't remember the details anymore. . .
I just remembered that Justin spilled fingernail polish on the bedroom furniture of a man with whom we were shopping for carpeting (in his home). Fortunately our homeowner's policy covered the repair even though we hadn't even moved into our home yet! Justin, do you remember slicing Uncle Evan's leather (like) water bed in Grandpa's basement? How about pillow fighting with Max and filling my bedroom with thousands of feathers while your Dad was working out of town? I lost control and cried too! Maybe your sweet daughters came by this mischievousness through their "active" Daddy!
Then there was the time that Jeff cut a sling shot from the arm of Justin's leather coat! He also shot BBs at the "boys" when Bryce Sturgeon suggested it. . . The neighbors called the police and I was in Filer at "Know Your Religion." Jeff had other misdeeds related to initiating Darren into his "club!" Ask them!
My memories are coming back to me more vividly now. . . Talk with Darren and Quentin about "egging," and throwing snowballs (Jeff too ?) at Bro. Dabney from the church roof. Quentin "peed" on Skyler Florke from a tree. Derek Wheeler (to Darren's surprise) repeatedly called 911 from our house when I was gone and the police were called. Ask Quen about driving backwards between the water tower and Altair Drive . . .
Celeste toilet papered the rose garden near the county jail and slept most of the night in the South Hills with Julie without permission! Both parents thought they were at the other's home. Oh, I just remembered that Celeste burned a round stain on the top of our new piano while I was shopping!
Melissa and the twins were stopped by the police on New Year's Eve and the driver (Glenda ?) didn't have a license. I received a call from an officer at Grandpa's house and had to pick her up to save her from jail!
Well, it's a blessing that our family has survived, stayed active in the gospel, are devoted Christians, served successful missions, married in the temple, and are loving parents! It's a miracle ! ! ! Be assured, Marisa, Justin, and Browns; that active children can become assertive, responsible adults before you're ready to have them leave home. Believe it or not, someday you you will have to think hard to remember these misdeeds and pranks. Be sure to record about them in your journals soon!
Justin, Max, and Chad could tell numerous tales about their adventures, too,if you ever want an enteraining evening. Enjoy your precious children at least some of the hours during each day. . . Pray for guidance and inspiration from the Holy Ghost, who can "teach you all things."
Love always,
Mamacita
